August 4th, 2013, David Gell's Burrial at Sea

My friend LB suggested that I help celebrate the life of his friend David. It was David's wish to have his remains scattered on the waters of his beloved Biscayne Bay. Many of his friends and family wanted to share in the event with David's wife Brenda. They needed another boat. It was my pleasure and honor to participate. On my boat was Cousins Anette, Jenny & Bob, Friend Kim and God son Zion. The weather was so still. not even a breeze. It was very fitting weather conditions for the occasion, very somber. I followed LB to the chosen spot, and we kept the two boats close enough to each other. The ashes were scattered by family and friends, and flowers were casted on the water along with some tears. It was a fitting celebration for David. We then took a short trip toward stilts ville before returning to the dock/. Here is what Robert wrote in the log:

" Captain Asaad, We all came to support our cousin and friend Brenda and to celebrate David's burial

at sea . A celebration of his life. Thank you Captain Asaad . Robert Shaw"
